it's been a while since i've made something for this blog. mainly because i'm back in school and i'm still in the adjustment period here in Auckland. new schedule. new environment. new people. everything is new! the course i'm currently taking is a diploma in e-business digital media. it's an interrelation between the multimedia production and business. i don't have multimedia paper for this term yet but i still found my graphic design background quite useful.
the image below is a book cover for my favorite show "How I Met Your Mother" (HIMYM). it's one of my assignments where we were asked to do a book regarding any topic that we want and design a cover for it. as easy as it seems, there's a catch! use the ever famous MS Word 2010! but of course since i know that MS Word has limited in terms of design, i needed a little help from my close friend, Photoshop.

another assignment that i did was to make an oral presentation regarding a specific topic, in which i chose business computing since it's the other paper i'm taking for this term. we were asked to use MS PowerPoint for the presentation but since i don't want to use to templates within the program, i decided to make my own. the design is very simple. knowing it is for a presentation in front of the class, i don't want it to be visually distracting so the audience would focus their attention to what i have to say and not read everything projected on the screen.
